Finishing this week with another bowl of nourishing cacao porridge (what else?). It’s pretty much my staple breakfast at uni as I always have rolled oats in stock and all you need is milk and fruit toppings and then you have the perfect filling breakfast. It’s a wonderful way to slowly release energy throughout the day, which is so necessary when I’m spending days in the library or at lectures.
So this morning’s bowl is honey, almond milk and cacao porridge layered with fresh banana, strawberries, raspberries and those special little chia seeds I love to sprinkle on top.
Today is also the first day that my puppy Brontë is able to go out for walks! For anyone who doesn’t know about dogs and puppies, they have to have injections before they are safe to venture outside and interact with other dogs. So she’s finally had her second injections and today is the day she can go out on a walk! Sad to not be home and able to see her on her first walk, but I’m sure I’ll be hearing about it from mum later.
Enjoy your Friday- the weekend is here!
