It’s so windy outside and although rain and wind are usual in Bristol, it’s a particularly miserable chilly day. Unfortunately I’m going to have to venture outside into the wind though as the library is calling and my mountain of work isn’t going to disappear if I don’t.
So on a morning such as this, the only way to remedy the situation is with a warming bowl of cinnamon and honey porridge. Wish me luck! Hopefully I won’t blow away…
Simple fig and banana porridge
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 cup milk
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp chia seeds
Cook the porridge in a pan or in the microwave. Stir in the cinnamon and honey. Top with the figs, banana and chia seeds.
