Hello September!
How have you come around so quickly? I don’t know about you, but September definitely signals the end of summer to me. Regardless of whether we have an ‘Indian Summer’ in September, it’s very much the end of summer. I suppose this is because it’s the month you associate with going back to school, back to university and the start of the new season: autumn.
Nevertheless, I actually have a summer holiday coming up in September in a few weeks! So with this on the horizon (#bikinibody and all that usual fuss that goes with a summer holiday) and a more general craving to get some goodness and greens into me, as occasionally I feel like I need a good healthy kick as it’s not always easy to get your 5 a day regularly; I decided to make a supergreen smoothie!
The ingredients don’t sound very appetising, but it was actually delicious and the perfect start to my day!
Supergreen Spirulina Smoothie

1 diced banana (frozen)
Large chunk of Cucumber sliced
