I’m definitely a tea person. A classic cup of English breakfast tea will always go down a treat and is a daily habit for me. But I am also keen on herbal teas. I often have loose leaf jasmine tea or camomile in the evening before I go to bed. So when a company in Jerusalem asked if they could send me some products to try and one of them was a loose leaf herbal tea I was more than happy to oblige and definitely intrigued if it came all the way from Jerusalem, a far more exotic destination than where I usually buy my tea (Waitrose or Sainsburys).
Now while you may think as the tea was sent to me as a gift I would obviously have to talk highly of it and lavish it with praise, I don’t believe in that. There’s no point singing the praises of something that you may then decide to try and then find I’ve given you an inaccurate review on, so I will only give my honest opinion.
And my honest opinion is that it really is a delicious herbal tea and better than shop-bought supermarket ones. I love loose teas anyway as they’re far more authentic and tastier than tea bags, but this herbal tea I would say is even better than any English loose leaf teas I’ve tried. It’s got wonderful delicate flavours of camomile, fennel, cardamom, ginger and rose petals. Its got a gorgeous aroma too, I knew before I’d made a cup of tea that it would taste special as I could smell the leaves when I opened it.
