I’ll be honest though, even if I hadn’t been on puppy duty, I probably would have been craving a snack at some point in the day. I usually like a little pre-dinner mid afternoon snack so I like to have a few healthy snack ideas to hand so that I’m not tempted to just opt for something unhealthy like crisps. This is a perfect light snack idea which is great mid-afternoon or even mid-morning to satisfy cravings while also ticking the healthy box.
Smashed avo with hummus on Ryvita
Ingredients
Ryvita crakers
Hummus
1/2 avocado
1/4 lime
1/8 fresh chilli diced or chilli flakes
Black pepper
Instructions
Smash the avocado- in a bowl using a fork mash the avocado up so it’s similar to guacamole consistency. Add the lime and chilli. Spread some hummus over a ryvita cracker. Then add the smashed avocado. Finish with a few cracks of black pepper. It’s that simple!
